Welcome to Paddock & Pine. These Terms of Service apply when you visit or purchase from our online store.
By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
Paddock & Pine is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products online.
1. OUR PRODUCTS
Paddock & Pine creates and sells handcrafted timber products, fire products, accessories and other goods available through our online store.
Our timber products are made using natural materials. Timber grain, colour, markings and other natural characteristics will vary from piece to piece. These variations are part of the character of natural timber and mean that no two products will be exactly the same.
We make every reasonable effort to accurately represent our products through photographs, descriptions and measurements. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on the timber, lighting, photography and the screen or device being used.
Product dimensions may also vary slightly where products are handmade.
2. ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.
We reserve the right to accept or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, an incorrect price has been displayed, payment cannot be processed or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we’re unable to fulfil an order after payment has been received, we’ll contact you and provide an appropriate refund.
Please check your order details carefully before submitting your order, including your delivery address and any customisation or engraving details.
3. PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change from time to time. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, subject to correction of genuine pricing or system errors.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
4. HANDCRAFTED AND NATURAL TIMBER PRODUCTS
Our timber products are handcrafted from quality Australian timber.
Natural timber may contain variations in grain, colour, figure, texture and markings. These characteristics are not necessarily faults or defects.
Timber is also naturally responsive to its environment. Heat, moisture, prolonged soaking, dishwashers, inappropriate storage and failure to follow care instructions may cause timber to move, warp, crack or otherwise become damaged.
Care information is supplied with relevant products and is also available on our website. Following these instructions will help keep your product in good condition.
Nothing in this section excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. CUSTOM, PERSONALISED AND ENGRAVED PRODUCTS
Where we offer personalised, custom-made or engraved products, it is your responsibility to ensure the information, spelling, artwork or other details supplied to us are correct.
Once production or engraving has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Custom or personalised products generally cannot be returned simply because you change your mind. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise covered by the Australian Consumer Law.
Where you provide a logo, artwork or other material for reproduction or engraving, you confirm that you have permission to use that material for the requested purpose.
6. FORGE PRODUCTS AND FIRE SAFETY
Products within our Forge collection are designed for outdoor fire and cooking use where specified.
Fire products must be used responsibly, on a suitable stable surface and in accordance with any instructions supplied with the product.
Never leave an operating fire unattended. Keep children, pets and combustible materials a safe distance away and ensure the product has completely cooled before handling, cleaning, moving or storing it.
Customers are responsible for checking and complying with local fire restrictions, total fire bans and other applicable laws or regulations before using fire products.
7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping options, charges and estimated delivery times are provided during checkout or in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control, including carrier delays and weather.
Please ensure your delivery information is correct when placing your order. Contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error.
Our obligations and your rights regarding delivery remain subject to applicable Australian law.
8. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND DAMAGED PRODUCTS
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us promptly if an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect so we can assess the issue and help put it right.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Some Paddock & Pine products are handmade or produced in limited quantities.
Products may therefore occasionally become unavailable or have longer production times.
We reserve the right to change or discontinue products or product variations. If an availability issue affects an order you’ve already placed, we’ll contact you.
10. WEBSITE INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to ensure information on our website is accurate and current. However, occasional errors may occur in product descriptions, pricing, availability or other information.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors or update information when required.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the content on this website — including the Paddock & Pine name, branding, logos, product photography, written content and original designs — belongs to Paddock & Pine or is used with permission.
Our content may not be reproduced, copied or used commercially without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our products, website, business practices or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on our website and will apply from the date it is published.
